Meet the faces behind the brand
MAGALI
Founder & Creative Director
Magali moved to Bali from Paris and set up her business here back in 2005.
She escaped the hustle & bustle of city-centre Bali and now lives in a local seaside village with her husband Matt and their twins Van and Marcelle.
Magali feels inspired by her surroundings, art, and the places cities she visits.
ALICE
General Manager
Alice joined the Magali team in 2017 after moving to Bali from Australia with her husband Sam.
Since their move to Bali their family has grown and they now have a 8 month baby girl!
At home, you’ll either find Alice baking her favourite home treats or looking for lost puzzle pieces.
ILUH
Head Sample Sewer
Iluh has been with Magali Pascal since the beginning! And as our head sample sewer, she makes sure all Magali designs are brought to life beautifully.
Originally from Bali, Iluh has most of her family neardby. She loves to spend her weekends with her grandchild, at village ceremonies, and will wear pink whenver she can.
VERENA
Senior Designer
Originally from Germany, Verena moved to Bali when she was only 22 years old and joined the Magali team in 2016.
Verena and her husband Bokir have recently welcomed a baby girl into the world!
At the weekend you’ll find Verena upholstering or searching construction sites looking for new DIY projects.
ROSIE
Marketing Manager
Rosie has been with the Magali team since 2018, making the move to Bali on her own when she was just 22 years old in search for a new adventure.
You’ll find Rosie trying the new restaurants and bars in Bali, enjoying sunset walks with her dog, and always on the lookout on how to make more sustainable choices.
FERLINA
Wholesale & PR Manager
Ferlina recently joined the Magali team after moving back home to Indonesia. She spent 13 years in Paris working in the fashion industry.
Ferlina speaks 3 languages fluently, enjoys people watching, and finds peace in nature.
From weekends spent gardening to redesigning her home interiors, Ferlina is always channelling her creative energy.
MANON
Production Manager
Manon moved to Indonesia in 2013 and made Bali home a few years later in 2015. She joined Magali as our Quality Control Manager and now oversees all our production.
With a passion for music and travel, Manon is always searching for the path less travelled. No weekend is the same for her!
DESI
Sample Manager
Desi first joined the Magali team almost 7 years ago and worked as a sales girl in one of our Bali boutiques.
She’s always had an eye for detail, absolutely loves stylish dressing and Zumba!
Originally from Bali, Desi has her family nearby and never misses a family get together.
PUTU
Factory Manager
Putu has been with Magali Pascal for over 10 years, making sure everything runs smoothly in the factory. And always with a smile!
Putu is Balinese and lives at home with her 4 children. She always looks for the bright side of life and her favourite things to is shame some laughter with everyone she meets.
